Register for New York City Holiday Lights bus tour
The Friends of the Library present a New York City Holiday Lights bus tour on Tuesday, Dec. 9 from 3:30 to 9:30 p.m.
The trip includes a four-hour tour of the Christmas trees of
Rockefeller
Center ,
Lincoln
Center , Wall Street, and the South Street Seaport, as well as the giant Tiffany snowflake on Fifth Avenue, Tavern on the Green in
Central Park , and many others.
The cost is $30 per person, which includes transportation, guided tour, and gratuities. Seating is limited to register early at the library. For more information call 201-391-2323.
PASCACK ART ASSOCIATION
Holiday party & auction announced
TOWNSHIP OF WASHINGTON – The Dec. 9 meeting of the Pascack Art Association (PAA) will feature an auction and holiday party. A variety of gently used items will be auctioned and proceeds will go to PAA non-profit arts association. The public is welcome to attend this special event and refreshments will be served.
PAA monthly meetings are held from September through June every second Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. at Township of Washington Town Hall, 350 Hudson Ave. Critiques and demonstrations in various mediums are offered. The association sponsors two judged exhibitions each year, a spring open competition and a fall art show. Ribbons and prizes are awarded.
