WESTWOOD CARES
‘Have a Heart’ campaign runs thru Dec. 12
Westwood Cares has begun its annual “Have a Heart” gift-giving campaign for its neighbors in need of a helping hand during the holidays.
Residents who are interested in participating can go to the Westwood municipal building, 101 Washington Ave. at the intersection of Irvington Street, and choose one or more of the pink paper hearts posted in the lobby. Each heart displays a letter of the alphabet and number (family code), age, sex, and size of the person the gift will be for. Save the heart. After the purchase has been made, return it to the lobby of the municipal building with the pink heart attached for proper distribution. Those who are able are asked to send a roll of wrapping paper along with the donation.
The “Have a Heart” campaign runs through Wednesday, Dec. 12. For further information, contact Jeannine Dineen at 201-666-9740 or jeannine108@optonline.net or Valerie Finnegan at 201-666-0461.
