Levy recognized for benefit concert

At the meeting of the Pascack Regional Board of Education on Dec. 17, Eric Levy, a senior at Pascack Hills High School, was recognized and commended for his outstanding achievement in "Hills Rocks for CJ," a fundraiser organized by Levy.
Proceeds of $7,100 were presented to the family of C.J. Personette, a freshman severely injured in a bike-auto collision on Sept. 1.
The fundraiser was a concert featuring six student bands and a Z-100 disk jockey. The National Honor Society sold tickets to the event, which was attended by more than 500 people.
