Davey's employees to use municipal lot
(by Kevin Glynn - April 02, 2008)
The Montvale Council has granted permission to Davey’s Locker for the bar and restaurant to purchase 15 municipal parking stickers for its employees.
The municipal lot has gone largely unused since New Jersey Transit opened a lot across the street, which is currently free. According to borough officials, only 10 to 15 percent of the municipal lot is regularly used. Davey’s Locker asked is it could use the lot so that it would have more spots in the restaurant parking lot for customers.
The council also reserves the right to withdraw the parking privileges at any time, in case the borough winds up in a situation where it does not have enough parking for commuters.
