Basketball courts to be completed by end of May

The Montvale Mayor and Council authorized borough engineer Maser Consulting to complete work on the Memorial Drivebasketball courts at the April 29 meeting.
The project was commenced in 2007 under the borough’s former engineering firm, Azzolina & Feury. The asphalt base for the courts was constructed last year.
Maser will add paving and color coating of the asphalt, install new basketball hoops and associated hardware, perform site grading, and complete a final inspection, at a cost not to exceed $10,000.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of May.
