Park Ridge
High School for 17 years. In that time, he has amassed an impressive record of more than 100 wins, four Bergen County Scholastic League Championships and the school’s lone State Championship.
At the May 19 board of education meeting, where winter sports teams and coaches were honored, he was recognized for his most recent honor – induction into the New Jersey Scholastic Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
Chris Brown, the district’s athletic director, introduced Coach Mioli and recounted many of the highlights of the head football coach’s career at
Park Ridge . “Gary has been named League and

Coach of the Year numerous occasions. His 1991, 1998, 1999 and 2002 BCLS Championships and the State Championship in 1995, along with his induction into the Park Ridge High School Athletic Hall of Fame along with the 1995 Championship Team are all signs of his commitment and dedication to this program.”
Presenting the award to Coach Mioli, Brown said, “On behalf of the Park Ridge Board of Education, we would like to congratulate you on a terrific accomplishment.” Handing him a statue of a football player and a certificate, Brown told him, “This is a sign of our appreciation for your hard work and dedication to the Park Ridge Athletic Department.”
